Welcome to the GANGA YOG NYAS which was established on November 18, 2018, in the sacred city of Haridwar, located near the banks of the holy river Ganga. Our organization has been dedicated to various activities aimed at promoting the welfare and well-being of the community and the environment.
Mr. Rakesh Kr. Sastri: Mr. Rakesh Kr. Sastri is the visionary behind Ganga yog nyas. His passion for service and commitment to making a positive impact on society led to the establishment of this organization
- Swami Pradvani Saraswati Ji (Sangrakshak): We are fortunate to have Swami Pradvani Saraswati Ji as our guiding light. His spiritual wisdom and guidance inspire our work and imbue it with a deep sense of purpose.
- Monthly Hawan and Bhandara: Every Purnima (full moon) of each month, we organize hawans (ritualistic fire ceremonies) and bhandaras (community meals) along the banks of the river Ganga. These events are open to all, fostering a sense of community and spirituality among those who attend.
- Ganga Sanskar Kendra: Within our organization, we run a small foundation named “Ganga Sanskar Kendra.” This initiative focuses on education and support for underprivileged students. We provide educational resources, including stationary, to help these students pursue their dreams and secure a brighter future.
- Ganga Safai Abhiyan: We are deeply committed to the preservation and cleanliness of the river Ganga. Our Ganga Safai Abhiyan is a mission to clean and safeguard the holy river. Through this initiative, we organize clean-up drives and awareness campaigns to promote responsible waste disposal and maintain the purity of the Ganga.
